I was born and raised in the Gila Valley. After finishing high school, I went to the U of A but finished my education in CA and found employment there. My roots brought me back home in 1995 when I started a family. I met my wife in CA, but we always felt that the Gila Valley was a better place to raise our kids. In the 20 years I was away, I was able to build a successful business and learn how to be proficient in my skills as a small business owner. Administration and running numbers are my strong points. I feel I can apply these qualities as chairman for the Fire District. My home here in the Gila Valley makes me proud so giving back and serving my community means the world to me.

I have lived in the Gila Valley for my entire life, growing up in the Safford area, then moving to the Thatcher area after I was married, where I have remained for the last 20 years. I am a 5th generation to the Gila Valley, and have strong family ties here. This community has been generous to me and my family, and I feel that serving on the Central Jackson Heights Fire Board, allows me to give back to my community. I previously volunteered as a fireman with the Thatcher Fire Department for about five years, allowing me to have an insight into to the fire service and the needs that we can fulfill as a district board. Thank you for allowing me to serve our district.
